June 2019:

 

22nd-23rd: Morgan Park Raceway. Motorcycle event, Ducati only Track Day. Taking place from 8:00am, at the Morgan Park Raceway.

23rd: Studio Style Creative Arts is offering a workshop that will show participants how to create beautiful sunflower art work with the guidance of local Warwick artist Louise Tait. The workshop is approximately 2 and a  half hours in length, starting at 1:30 pm at the Garden Studio, 13 Clarke Street, Warwick. You can visit the website provided if you would like more details.

24th: Safe Soda Simple Science. A free event taking place that aims to help people understand health issues they may face today. Topics covered will include excess sugar, diet,  and stress and the impacts that these issues may have on you. Great source of information for anybody interested in improving their well-being. The session will take place from 6:30-8:30pm, at Warwick RSL, 65 Albion Street. Attendance is free, but bookings are compulsory. 27th: Sunwater Developing Future Scenarios - Stakeholder Workshop (Macintyre Brook and Upper Condamine). A collaborative workshop to help you better understand and prepare for issues you may face in the future. The workshop helps you to identify possible issues and prepare for them be discussing challenges and risks you may face and the courses of action you may be able to take. 28th: Queensland at Home. Vintage film and live music performed by Topology to give you a glimpse of what life in Queensland was like in the early 1900's. Starting at 7pm, the event will take place at Warwick Town Hall, 72 Palmerin St. Tickets are only $10 and children under 12 years have free entry. 28th: Craft Beer Tasting taking place at 6pm, located at the Criterion Hotel, 84 Palmerin Street, Warwick. Bookings are essential, to book you can call the hotel at 4661 1042.

28th-30th: Morgan Park Raceway. CAMS State Championship Race Meeting - Round 1 - Promoted by CORD

29th: Neil Diamond Tribute. "Neil Diamond - The Man The Music" will tell of the life, times and songs of Neil Diamond, including some behind-the-scenes stories of the creation of some of his songs. 30 of Neil's most beloved hits will be played by talented artist Craig Stewart. Dinner is $25 and tickets are $49. This event is expected to sell out fast, so book early. Taking place at Warwick RSL, one night only. 29th: Southern Downs Steam Railway Tour. Stanthorpe Winery tours and lunch. Departing Warwick at 8:00am, the heritage train takes a scenic tour to Stanthorpe, arriving at 10:15am. At Stanthorpe coaches will be waiting to take you to tour up to five local wineries with lunch being provided at one of the wineries. The coaches will then take travelers back to the train which will depart at 3:50 and make the way back to Warwick, arriving at approximately 6:00pm. 29th: Southern Downs Steam Railway Tour. Departing Warwick at 8:00am for a leisurely day on the heritage train, arriving at Wallangarra at 12:10pm where the train will stop for lunch. The train will depart again at 2:10pm to head back to Warwick with expected arrival at 6:00pm.

30th: Mosaic Bird House Workshop. A fun event taking place at Studio Style Inside Out, 13 Clarke Street, Warwick. This workshop gives you the opportunity to decorate your own bird house in the style and colours of your choice. The tiles used for the mosaics and the bird house structures are provided and guidance for mosaics and grouting will be offered. July 2019:

4th-7th: Morgan Park Raceway. Australian SuperBike Championship - Round 4

5th-7th: Snowflakes in Stanthorpe Festival. A much loved event taking place in Stanthorpe where people travel from all over to enjoy the Winter festivities. Entertainment, demonstrations and  activities will be taking place, such as an ice sculpture competition, jumping castles, lantern parade, fireworks and, or course, an ice skating rink. Last year's event drew in approximately 12-14,000 people, and this year we are expecting closer to 15,000 to attend. 18-28th July: Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival. One of Warwick's most popular events, the Jumpers and Jazz Festival brings people from all over eager to enjoy the family-friendly fun. You can enjoy world-class jazz, unique workshops, art exhibitions, stalls with amazing products, and more during Warwick's most beloved and famous event. 20th: Morgan Park Raceway. Porsche Club QLD Sprints

20th: Killarney Bonfire Night. You can enjoy a warm night out with hot foods, live performances, fireworks and some very artistic uses of fire drums, all centered around a giant pine bonfire. You can enter in the fire drum exhibition - visit the website for more information regarding this event. Entry fee is $15, free for anybody under 12 years, and you may enter for free if you are willing to volunteer in setting up before the event begins. Taking place at the Killarney Showgrounds, on Willow St, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, a great way to spend a Saturday night. 26th-28th: Warwick Show and Rodeo Society Inc will be hosting the 'Dopro Plus Warwick Trans-Tasman Sheep Dog Trial' where you can watch some top working dogs and their handlers in action. The event will begin at 8:00am, Friday, 26/03/19 and conclude at 5:00pm, Sunday, 28/03/19.

28th: Morgan Park Raceway. Women in Motorsport Track Day. A day of events is planned with the aim of providing women with the opportunity to experience the racetrack. 14th: Southern Downs Steam Railway Tour. From Warwick to Clifton and return. The train is set to depart from Warwick at 10:00am and arrive at Clifton at 11:30am. It will depart from Clifton at 1:45 and return to Warwick at 3:00pm. This is a beautiful and unique way to spend a Saturday with your family. Ticket prices vary.
