New Art Gallery opening on Locke Street Warwick. The gallery will be displaying contemporary work by local artists. The gallery is located at 30 Locke Street, Warwick QLD. August 2019:

10th, Saturday: Studio Style Inside Out is hosting a fun workshop 'Vision Board 101 with Intention'. Celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Ellen DeGeneres, Jim Carey and more, all use vision boards in their day-to-day lives. With this workshop and the guidance of talented artist, Louise Tait, you too can have the opportunity to learn how to build a unique-to-you vision board that will allow you to put everything in perspective and bring you a step closer to achieving your goals. 10th, Saturday: Southern Downs Steam Railway Tour. Warwick to Wallangarra and return with an optional lunch. The Southern Downs Steam Railway conducts various tours by steam train and have been gaining in popularity for this very unique and unforgettable experience. The tour from Warwick to Wallangarra will depart at 8:00am for a leisurely morning before arriving at Wallangarra at 12:10pm where the train will stop for a break and some lunch before beginning the return journey at 2:10pm with expected arrival back at Warwick at 6:00pm. 10th, Saturday: Southern Downs Steam Railway Tour. Warwick to Stanthorpe, winery tours and return. This is an all-day tour taking place from 8:00am to 6:30pm. Upon leaving the station at Warwick , the heritage steam train will travel to Stanthorpe, arriving at 10:15am. Here coaches will be waiting to take you on tours of up to five wineries, pausing for lunch at one of them. The coaches will then take you back to the station where the train will be waiting, ready to depart at 3:50pm, arriving back at Warwick at 6:00pm. 10th, Saturday: Book Launch and Encounters. From 5-7pm, QCWA Hall, Grafton St, Warwick. Music, including performance by the Carbal Reconciliation Choir, poems, short stories, book launch and book display will be taking place. Light refreshments are provide. 24th, Saturday: Southern Downs Steam Railway Tour. A rare tour is set to take place as live entertainment, Fern Brothers, will be at the station and aboard the train for a special steam train night tour. Departing the station at Warwick at 5:00pm, you will travel to Clifton, arriving at 6:40pm. The train will depart Clifton at 8:45pm for return trip to Warwick, arriving at 10:00pm. There will an onboard bar and snacks. 20th-22nd: Bony Mountain Folk Festival. Voted among the top ten festivals from around from Australia and New Zealand, the Bony Mountain Folk Festival will be coming to Southern Downs this September. The festival celebrates oue history, heritage and Aussie music. Songwriters, Musicians, Poets, Comedians and well-known band Hill Billy Goats will be at the festival n Saturday night. There will be Celtic music and dances, bands, choirs, activities and games, vintage car display, dog parade and more.
